Two Minutes of Thought:

Some of my favorite gifts are handmade gifts. Whether it is a beautiful wood headboard, a hot-pad made by my best friend’s mother, or a hand-print ornament, they are special. I think about the time, love, and thought put into that gift. That person gave me a piece of them; a creation of theirs. These gifts are priceless!!

Now imagine that the God of the universe, The Creator of all that is, The Kings of kings would give us a gift. Your child, regardless of age, is a gift from God Himself. It says so in Psalm 127:3. He has given us a gift that He fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14) made. A gift just for you! Treasure your children. See them for the incredible gift they are. When you look at them, know that you are looking at the handiwork of God. See Him in them.
